1. Painting of Design

Designs are painted on the outside of your windows.

2. Design Adjustments and Mock Ups

Installations will not be painted exactly as the design. Each design will be adjusted to suit the dimensions and layout of your window. This is to ensure everything fits and works perfectly (e.g. the addition or removal of elements may be required.)

If you would like a mock up, this is free of charge if you are able to provide us an image of your window.

3. Pre-existing decal or film on windows

We do not paint on decal or film surfaces, if it is stuck on the outside of your windows.

It is the clients responsibility to check your windows prior to booking.

If such materials are discovered upon arrival, no refunds will be issued.

4. Measurement Accuracy

Clients are responsible for providing accurate measurements of windows.

Any discrepancies between provided measurements and actual dimensions may result in additional charges or delays.

5. How to care for your artwork

During the time your artwork is up, you can not get your windows cleaned as this will damage the work.

Awol Creations is not liable for any damage caused by cleaning your artwork.

6. Access to Windows 

The window must be accessible on the scheduled installation day.

Windows must be unobstructed: no hedges, etc.

Any delays caused by restricted access may incur a rescheduling fee.

7. Installation Schedule

Installations will occur as per the agreed timeline.

Delays may occur due to factors that effects our painting and drying times. You will be contacted ahead of schedule.

 

8. Weather Conditions

Your booking may be subject to re-scheduling if there is rain, due to extended drying and paint times.

In case of adverse weather, Awol Creations reserves the right to reschedule at no additional cost.

If your windows are uncovered, we will re-schedule your booking in the event of rain.

9. Materials and Paint

All materials used are water-based and safe for glass surfaces.

Removal of the artwork follows a standard removal procedure. Requires water, a scraper, and cleaning solution (e.g., Windex). All designed and completely safe for windows.

Scratches can only occur if: your windows are not glass or your window was recently replaced and has microscopic glass particle residue.

10. Window preparation

Clients are responsible for ensuring their windows are clean before we install our work.

Clients are responsible for the removal of stickers, decals or other artwork prior to installation.

A cleaning fee may apply if Awol Creations must prepare windows.

11. Payment Terms

Full payment is required to secure the booking.

Payment is due within 14 days of receiving invoice.

Late payments may be subject to late payment fees.

12. Cancellation Policy

In the unlikely event of cancellation, payment made is non-refundable.

​

13. Damage and Liability

Awol Creations takes utmost care during installation and the removal process. We use industry-standard blades for paint removal. We are not liable for pre-existing scratches, etching, vandalism or defects. We are not liable for scratches, etching, vandalism or defects that may become visible more than a day after paint removal.

Awol Creations takes no responsibility if paint becomes stuck in pre-existing scratches in your windows.

14. We can not paint

Textured windows.

Slats.

15. Surcharges

There is a 5% surcharge for windows exposed to sun, that are not covered.

There is a 5% surcharge to windows that are indoors.

We have the right to refuse certain designs in either of these conditions, due to extended installation and removal times.

16. Photographic Use

Awol Creations reserves the right to photograph completed installations for promotional purposes.

Clients must notify Awol Creations in writing if they do not wish to have their installation photographed.

17. Intellectual Property

Designs are strictly protected and must not be replicated or reused under any circumstances. Failure to comply may result in legal action. All designs remain the intellectual property of Awol Creations.

 

18. Force Majeure

Awol Creations is not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events outside of its control.

In the unlikely event Awol Creations has to cancel, you will be given a full refund.

By checking the box and booking your window installation services with Awol Creations, you agree to these terms and conditions.
